Yoga wear has definitely found its way into our wardrobes.  Clothing for yoga has transcended the mat, the studio, the gym.  Women… and men… can be seen wearing it just about anywhere… and everywhere, from picking up the kids, to the grocery store, to the mall.  It’s not just for yoga anymore, that’s for darn sure.

That said, the reason for the popularity of yoga clothing for everyday, and everywhere, is that in recent years, it’s become more than a matter of just comfort.  Hey, we all know you can find comfort pretty readily… say, your p.j’s or a pair of old trusty sweats (a pet peeve of husband)…. No, it’s more than that.

With Hyde, it’s comfort and a whole lot more.  With Hyde, it’s a matter of originality.  Unique fit.  Wearability, whether on the mat, walking the dog, or standing in line at the grocery check-out.  Not to mention, just sheer style.  Oh, and maybe most importantly, affordability!

When I slipped a leg into my Hyde Twisted Seam Legging I knew I’d made the right choice.  The slender fit- very slender in fact… I’m glad I chose the large over the medium as they fit small- was like wearing nothing at all… much to husband’s preference.

They were a dream for practice.  Unlike lesser pants in my seemingly endless collection, the Hyde didn’t ride up- read: wedgie!- they stayed put, from crotch to ankle, and allowed complete freedom of movement, regardless the posture.

No riding up… no riding down.  Simply, no adjusting.

And the ‘twisted seam’, providing something of a rouching at the knee, is a lovely touch.  A new ‘twist’ shall we say, on an otherwise simple, lovely legging… as well the relaxed, slightly flared ankle, making for an unquestionably athletic, but stylish pant, as appropriate for a morning run as for the stop at the coffee shop afterwards!

The Taryn Halter is another wonderfully stylish, not to mention unique addition to any athletic wardrobe.  Offering good support, though as a woman bragging nothing more than fried eggs for breasts, I can’t speak to how this style might work for those perhaps better endowed, the Taryn Halter is one I shall enjoy wearing for just about any activity.  Other than running perhaps, where a sturdier bra is necessary, even for the flat chested.

The Taryn is a top that can transition from practice to sunny outdoors seamlessly.  Practical yet wonderfully feminine, with pants or a skirt, it’s a wonderful light halter for just about any occasion.  The exposed seam and rough edges are a unique element to the top’s design making it truly an original, wherever you wear it!
